Ideas & Trends 2014 launched in September 2013. The team was challenged to develop personal strategies that would allow them to become more adaptable, flexible, creative and resilient. Their reading list includes Who Owns The Future (Jaron Lanier), To Save Everything, Click Here (Evgeny Morozov), Winner Take All Politics (Jacob S. Hacker and Paul Pierson) and The Post American World, Release 2.0 (Fareed Zakaria). The team will deliver its report to the Leadership Council in April 2014.
I&T creates an opportunity for students to fashion a learning environment that incorporates disruptive ideas and technologies, allowing them to define and deliver on a project. The resulting experience allows each team to stretch their own creativity to craft a truly innovative deliverable that challenges them in new ways.
